The Legacy of Max Miedinger: Museum Design Event
For this project, I was given the scenario of designing a poster, ticket, and booklet for a museum exhibition honoring the work of Max Miedinger. Throughout the process, I researched Miedinger’s design legacy and studied common practices used in promotional materials for art exhibitions, especially poster and ticket design. As part of the assignment, I developed five different poster advertisement variations. From these five concepts, two were selected to be further refined and expanded into ticket designs and a booklet. During my research, I learned that Miedinger often preferred strict grid structures in his work, which influenced the layout of my designs. For the first color palette, I used the primary colors red, yellow, and blue to create a bold and visually striking composition.
