Hunger Pains: Collage Movie Poster Concept
For this project, I was asked to create a movie poster using my own photography alongside a fictional film concept. The assignment required developing an original movie idea, writing a short summary, and producing a brief script excerpt. The final poster had to be created in a collage style using my own photographs along with free-to-use stock images that visually represent the genre, mood, and narrative of the film. After developing the concept for my movie, I created ten sketch iterations exploring different poster compositions and layouts. From these sketches, I selected the strongest concept to develop further. I then gathered the visual materials for the final composition, which included my own photography as well as free stock images of meat to reinforce the dark, unsettling tone of the film. Using these elements, I constructed a collage-style poster that reflects both the horror and dark humor of the story.
